Soothing Yourself: Emotion Regulation.

Come along to this gathering to learn about why we sometimes get caught in big emotions and reactivity.

Relationship coach and mindfulness facilitator Janel Atlas, PhD draws on neurobiology and psychology and shares practical activities and applied habits of mind to help each of us better self-soothe.

Participants will benefit from Janel’s engaging and intuitive facilitation and teaching and will gain a better understanding of themselves as well as a normalized sense of the purpose of emotions such as jealousy, anger, resentment, and shame.

More importantly, participants will learn several embodied practices to calm back down so that they can make better choices, communicate clearly, and have greater happiness.
